Concrete forming and pouring

We begin with identifying the issue of your concrete and dictate whether or not your concrete needs to be re-surfaced or simply replaced with new concrete.

Concrete is a very hard material which can last for a very long time if reinforced with the correct steel reinforcement. Concrete can crack and settle if not installed over a well compacted base. We always install new concrete over a compacted, 3/4'“ gravel base of at least 4” in depth, this allows for the concrete to have a good foundation to rest on. ALL new concrete installations should also be reinforced with the minimum of welded wire mesh to prevent any cracking in concrete or separation. Concrete also needs to have expansion joints installed throughout all flatwork so that if concrete tends to crack it’ll do so through these joints and not create ugly hairline cracks throughout the surface.
